Egyptian Exporters Association (EEA) is a nonprofit organization founded by the Egyptian private sector exporters in 1997 with a common belief in the potential of Egyptian exports. EEA’s primary goal is to develop Egyptian non-traditional exports and increase Egyptian exporters' competitive advantage, helping them reach, and compete, in targeted markets with sophisticated and enhanced products or services matching international market demands. EEA offers a comprehensive service package from information, market research, technology transfer, and export promotion, to market entry. EEA provides exporters with the necessary exposure in targeted markets by participating in the international specialized trade fairs worldwide, and by providing a qualified presence for Egypt and Egyptian products.
EEA's eight core activities are closely integrated and rely upon mutual support for their success to empower domestic exporters trying to meet international buyers' expectations. These activities are:
technical assistance
market correspondents network
international specialized trade fairs
market intelligence
corporate image building
trade missions
start-ups program
export policy advocacy
EEA's main publication is "Trade Secrets" which is a base reference tool and consultative device for exporters who seek to expand sales in foreign markets, small businesses selling well domestically and seek to sell internationally, trade development professionals and university students. It offers perspective approaches and hints to solve problems in the export process.
The EEA website includes more information about the organization, its events and activities and publications.
